It is hard to believe a city the size of New York goes so long without picking up trash. Today, after more than a week, the trash was removed from the streets. Since Christmas the rubbish has been accumulating on the sidewalks. The snow from the 26th and early morning of the 27th of December made it more difficult to collect, but could not be an excuse to suspend the service entirely. The snow began to melt on the 28th. The city became a dump; melt snow, plastic bags, cans and bottles. There was strong odor in the streets and residents desperate did not know what to do with garbage bags. Finally, the long-awaited garbage trucks have resumed service this evening!
Mais uma vez longe de casa! Um dia descobri que o meu lugar é o mundo e a minha casa a estrada. Este blog vai contar as minhas peripécias longe de casa. Again away from home! One day I discovered that my place is the world and my house on the road. This blog will tell my adventures away from home.
